At J9 Performance, we are strong proponents of strength training. Our programming primarily focuses on improving biomechanics to first alleviate clients' chronic pain. We then build strength intelligently and safely. Strength training is at the core of what we do, as we believe it to be the foundation of all physical qualities. When executed correctly, it can enhance mobility, boost athletic performance, reduce the risk of injuries, develop a robust and muscular physique, enhance self-confidence, contribute to mental well-being, and improve overall health. While our primary emphasis is on increasing strength, we also recognize the importance of training various energy systems and maintaining a balanced diet. This not only helps our clients become better athletes but also promotes overall health.

Meet James Sowrey, the Owner and Head Coach at J9 Performance. James is a coach with over a decade of experience. He is extremely passionate about the health and fitness industry and has had the privilege of being coached and mentored by some of the finest coaches in the world. I believe this unique blend of practical experience and top-tier guidance equips me to provide the highest level of service to my clients. At J9 Performance, our speciality lies in strength training. Our programs primarily focus on biomechanics training, with a keen emphasis on joint health and mobility. We offer a range of coaching options, including in-person sessions at our private facility, remote online coaching, or a combination of both. This approach ensures that our clients receive the necessary guidance to master the technical aspects of lifting.
